Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. DataQuiz also uses browser localStorage for similar purposes, which we treat the same way in this policy.

We use essential storage for authentication sessions (so you stay signed in), language preference, and CSRF protection. The Service cannot function without these and they do not require consent.

We use functional storage to remember UI choices such as theme, quiz progress in flight, and accessibility settings. These improve your experience but are not strictly required.

We may use limited, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which features are useful and to fix bugs. Analytics events are aggregated and do not include sensitive personal data.

When you sign in with a third-party provider (e.g. Google), that provider sets its own cookies during the sign-in flow. Their cookie practices are governed by their own policies.

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out and reset preferences. You can also delete your DataQuiz account from Account Settings to remove your data from our servers.

We may update this Cookie Policy. Material changes will be announced in-app.
